The port of Jeddah has been in existence for more than 2000 years and its strategic location, halfway through the Red Sea, has ensured prosperity since its foundation, The owners of the Arabian Establishment for Trade and Shipping Ltd choose Jeddah as the ideal base for their shipping activities and established the Head office close to the Jeddah Islamic port on 1962 with a commitment to high standard the newly formed company rapidly expanded and, in the process, diversified Into other related businesses. Nowadays the company is not only a major shipping agency, with the added Prestige of being the Lloyds Agents for Saudi Arabia In Jeddah AET also owns a modern container storage and repair depot, linked to a group owned transportation Fleet.
