Established in 1975, Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar, is a first of its kind institution in Northern India, where education in traditional and modern arts as well as a multitude of other disciplines, is imparted to students, laced with moral, social, and cultural values. This unique institution brought Fine Arts from the fringes to the folds, offering various courses in Fine Arts and beyond to the youth. ACFA offers a judicious blend of tradition and modernity where the conventional courses are offered along with the most techno-savvy ones. The College offers the most modern infrastructure and top-of-the-line facilities while retaining a quintessential artistic & pristine culture. ACFA, Jalandhar, was set up by the great philanthropist, educationist, industrialist and freedom fighter, Dr Stya Paul ji, Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Education Society, with the mission and vision to propagate and promote the rich cultural heritage of India in a world class ambience. This legacy is being taken forward by Dr Stya Paul’s daughter and only child, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education Society. From a Fine Arts institution, ACFA soon evolved as a multi-dimensional, multi faculty Institution The College created history by being the only institution in the entire State of Punjab to achieve A+ grade under NAAC'S revised accreditation framework. The College has also been granted the Status of College with Potential for Excellence and Kaushal Kendra to run skill oriented vocational courses by UGC. This apart, the College is also an unbeaten Champion in GND University Youth Festivals for the last 19 years and has also created history by becoming the National Cultural Champion for 10 times in a row. The long rally of Apeejay's accomplished alumni making waves in various sectors is a glowing testimony of the College's professional edge.
