Overview

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity is a 501(c)7 non-profit organization. Founded in the year 1906, it is the nation’s first and oldest intercollegiate Greek-letter organization for established for African American college men. The fraternity has over 700 chapters that span all across the United States, the Bahamas, Germany, London, South Africa and South Korea. Mission Statement Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities. Special Projects Alpha Phi Alpha's Special Projects are programs and activities that are sustained through collaborative efforts, memoranda of understanding, and/or outside financial assistance. Current Special Projects include: 1. Big Brothers/Big Sisters Mentoring Brothers program 2. Boy Scouts of America 3. College Life to Corporate Life Initiative (C2C) 4. Leadership Development Institute
