anekataa, based out of Bangalore, is a new entity established in March, 2015 by a group of experienced and passionate professionals. Our mission is to work with individuals and teams, facilitating dynamic growth in organizations and enabling them to engage, affirm and celebrate diversity. Our clients are organizations and colleges, individuals and teams, men and women. Our focus is on creating spaces for dialogue and action that leverage existing organizational efforts to build both diversity and inclusion. We believe that having a diverse team is not all it takes to build cultures of inclusion and growth. Heterogeneous teams perform better than their counterpart homogeneous teams because of a multitude of factors that build a culture of diversity and inclusion. Keeping this in mind, we work closely to understand the organization's needs and offer a range of interventions. These are streamlined as our efforts at coaching and mentoring; and workshops for inclusion at various organizational levels. Through our "Transition to Adulthood" workshops, we, as Anekataa Academy, help facilitate reflections on careers, identities, relationships, self-work for students, young adults in colleges. We work with first-generation and women learners too, addressing gaps in facilitating the transition to workplace. This is alignment with our goal of co-creating diverse and inclusive workspaces.
