Kerman Amiri Shawl The shawl is a natural craft and enduring art that originated thousands of years ago, which was a formal outfit (costume) for government leaders(governors) and also a precious souvenir for the European royal families. Supporting this art, Amirkabir gave order to use shawls as gifts for the Europeans in different occasions. That's why it's been called Amiri-shawl, even after its deciline (breakdown). After a 150-year old delay, in 2016 the governor suggested Amiri_ shawl company to renew this industry and support this cultural art. After presenting a new shawl_ making machine by the president deputy, the company produced its first shawls on May,3rd 2017. Shawls are made by natural wool with patterns based on Iran and Kerman culture. Company's products: 1. Patte shawl: hand-knitted shawl for making patte, made from the best quality wool (Merinus). It can be ordered in various sizes. 2. Tablo shawl: made from 100% wool yarn (string), patterned with Safavi and Qajari pictures. It can be ordered in various sizes. 3. Scarf: made from 100% wool yarn (Merinus), a very delicate texture. It can be made according to your desired pattern. 4. As shawl making is a knitting technic, there are no limitations in its products, therefore all the varieties (scarves, ties, elegant clothes) can be ordered.
