American Trauma Society, Pennsylvania Division

Hospitals and Health Care

Overview

The American Trauma Society, Pennsylvania Division is a non profit committed to preventing traumatic injuries and deaths through education. Our work includes providing presentations and educational materials on many trauma prevention topics, including concussions, water safety, senior falls, bike safety and traffic safety. We are eager to accept new challenges and look for opportunities to carry out our mission of reducing the impact of trauma in the lives of all Pennsylvanians. Since being awarded its charter in 1972, the ATSPA has grown to include 39 member hospitals, 17 board members, eight staff and many community partners. Through these partnerships and the hard work of all those involved with the organization, the ATSPA reaches all corners of Pennsylvania with trauma prevention education.
