American Sustainability Leadership Institute and Council (AmerSLC) is a private, industry-driven consortium that provides professionals peer perspective insights, facilitates advantageous coalition building and expounds organizations commendable efforts regarding all aspects of the smart sustainability industry. Focus: Economics, marketing, innovation and collaborative development of advantageous programs, projects, products and initiatives that will define the era of smart sustainability Our services deliver critical time industry information, cultivation of business DNA, highly visible social media campaigns and personal communications to position future growth in a smart sustainable global environment. The mainstay is peer-to-peer interaction with private businesses, universities, medical campuses, global corporations, military and government to quickly keep pace with what's trending in the smart sustainability industry. We host 4 forums annually that are presented by executives who inspire change. These power-packed programs are presented in a short span of 3 hours, called Sustainability Leaders INsights Series. The sessions cover topics that represent the diversified aspects of smart sustainability, followed by group dialogue and are eligible for PE, LEED and SSP CEUs. The Council operates the American Sustainability Leadership Institute and has recently introduced a certification program to obtain credentials as a Smart Sustainability Professional (SSP). Founded-2005 on the principal "sustainability and profitability are inextricably linked". We were one of the nation’s original organizations to endorse all sustainable solutions that improve corporate profitability. The Council is an independent entity.
