Overview

AIS Wind Energy provides experienced personnel, project management and safety planning for all elements of the wind energy supply chain, including wind farm developers and operators, energy providers, turbine manufacturers and contractors. Part of Ainscough Industrial Services, we bring together expertise in the renewable energy sector with the lifting and logistics capabilities of our sister companies, AIS Vanguard and AIS Eurelo. This unique partnership enables us to offer planning and safety management services, along with boots on the ground in any onshore or offshore wind generation environment, anywhere in Europe. We support the wind energy sector across four core service areas: Installation: We have a proven record of turbine installation across a wide range of technologies and turbine manufacturers, including Nordex, Senvion, Vestas, Enercon and Siemens. Our team of experienced technicians comply with manufacturers’ training requirements for installations of all turbine sizes and models. Decommissioning: We are equally experienced in the decommissioning of wind turbines. Our skilled major component exchange team has been involved in some challenging de-commissioning projects, including dismantling of fire damaged machines as well as de-commissioning of older technology. Maintenance and Retro-fit: From routine servicing and inspections, through to major repairs and upgrades, we can provide expert teams for both planned and reactive maintenance, mobilising teams at short notice where required. We can also replace major components to optimise turbine performance and extend the service life of the asset. Supervision: We provide mechanical and electrical supervisors for turbine installation and commissioning projects, along with site management expertise and qualified personnel for heavy lift supervision. We take a safety-first approach to the planning and implementation of all activities and have the experience to back up that commitment.
