The AI Education Network is a community of volunteers and AI professionals dedicated to advancing AI education and literacy. It originated with the idea of providing free engaging workshops to K-12 students in Bay Area public schools to equip them with a comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI). As the network grew, its mission expanded to offer support to educators, parents, and other stakeholders in the AI education field. The primary mission of the AI Education Network remains unchanged: to foster awareness and knowledge of AI concepts among young learners. It empowers them to confidently navigate the dynamic world of AI technology and actively engage in discussions about the opportunities and risks associated with AI. Currently, we offer workshops to local schools in the Bay Area and in BostonCurrently, we additionally offer workshops to local schools in the Bay Area and in Boston, and are onboarding new members to deliver educational content about AI literacy for kids online.
