Agriprocity is a boutique investment and advisory company wholly focused on the agri-food sector. Originally borne out of the Middle East region’s demand to engage more deeply in the Canadian agricultural value chain, Agriprocity’s early clients included the UAE’s largest grain and oilseed importer, Abu Dhabi’s largest flour and animal feed mill, and Saudi Arabia’s largest agri-conglomerate, among others. Today Agriprocity’s clients include multinational food and agri companies, investors, large-scale commercial farms, family offices and governments from across the globe. The company’s continued success is attributed to its deep and broad knowledge of the commercial realities of agri-food value chains. Agriprocity has worked in multiple geographies and with a wide variety of crops (from algae to wheat to ginger and beyond). In 2017, Agriprocity was selected to participate in the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Innovations and Outcome Management program, which precipitated the company’s shift towards opportunities in Africa. In 2019, Agriprocity executed its first investment on the continent in a greenfield natural ingredient processing concept in Kenya. Agriprocity has deep experience in the sectoral themes of alternative protein and dairy, personalized nutrition, decentralized processing, and environmental and social sustainability.
