Overview

Founded by Aurielle Kaminski in June 2022, Agency Eight reflects Auri’s years of experience in community building and growing DTC startups across all industries. Starting from her time at Parade, Auri was responsible for executing a head-of-its-time marketing strategy using what are today referred to as “nano-influencers”. From her time building communities in-house, Auri found that gifting and seeding products in an effective way is very time-consuming and challenging to manage and track. By focusing on this specific service, Agency Eight can provide an extremely cost-effective return on investment for many businesses that want to create this powerful growth engine. As of today, Agency Eight has helped over 5 brands in the beauty, beverage, and fashion spaces grow their digital word of month tremendously. As of February 2023, Auri brought on Alex Ashton as a co-founder. Alex has 2 years of software engineering and data analytics experience at Amazon, where he worked directly on consumer facing systems for Amazon.com. Alex then led marketing and operations for Basic.Space, an e-commerce marketplace, where he built out paid advertising, doubled fulfillment capabilities by expanding into a new city, and oversaw dozens of marketing pushes, as well as high production value events. Together, the two help clients tackle one of the most challenging problems for an early stage DTC brand: how do we find our consumer and once we do, how do we connect them to the product? In a world of viral marketing stunts and social media overload, Agency Eight provides the most direct-to-consumer strategy of any marketing agency. We are the sharpshoots and door-to-door salespeople in a world of spam, one-size-fits-all marketing strategy.
