Welcome to The Institute of Afrofuturist Ecology! We are a community-driven organization focused on promoting sustainable, equitable, and just futures for Black and Brown communities. Our mission is to bridge the gap between environmental activism and social justice by centering on the voices and experiences of those most impacted by environmental degradation and climate change. Through our programs and initiatives, we seek to empower and uplift Black and Brown voices in the environmental movement, while also promoting innovative and regenerative practices that prioritize community resilience and well-being.
