The continents first time ever annual cross industry, cross country honors of top deserving women in banking, insurance, microfinance, investment banking, accounting and public finance. The advocacy work that laid the foundation for this historic and groundbreaking international women's event began in 2011 and crystalized into the first evening event at the Accra International Conference Centre in West Africa, in the presence of some of the biggest names and organizations. At that same 2014 event, the historic edition of the women in banking and finance magazine -also an pan-African first- was officially outdoored.
