Overview

Objectives of Sport with our Ambassador, David Frost, South Africa’s own true example and successful 3-time winner of the Nedbank Million Dollar and current Champions Tour Player at the young age of 64. Using sport is a core vehicle for economic and social development for those marginalised in South Africa through the use of Sport, Technology and bringing the youth and senior generation closer together to offload life experience in many fields of expertise. Achieving our social development goals through sport as it’s a unifying force and a vehicle for inclusion which contributes to peace, the empowerment of women, marginalised young people and the active senior. Connecting the world of sport with the world of development funding is critical. We have a great need to bring the youth and senior generations together using life experience from our retired and active seniors who have a wealth of knowledge they want to share. This means youth gain mentorship through successes of our active seniors’ life experiences and in turn we need to move away from closed communities where youth do not have access to grow and learn especially in the retirement industry in South Africa. As a South African platform based in Cape Town, The Advant-Age Frost Foundation aims to promote the support and funding of projects promoting development through sport and social activity between young and active seniors in South Africa. By taking existing solutions supplemented by a range of tailor-made services, our platform is positioned as a one-stop shop and pursues four main goals: • Facilitate and fast-track funding for projects of all sizes (micro, medium-sized and macro) • Promote and accelerate support for projects through Legend Sport Coaching and Development • The use of technology to streamline development in a more cost-effective way • Ensure promotion of inclusivity amongst youth and the active seniors and encourage the sharing of life experiences, knowledge and feedback
