Overview

ACAA promotes anatomical knowledge in the medical and surgical fields by organising workshops as well as meetings and research works, more precisely in advanced clinical anatomy. And what means that? Anatomy is a science, that's beyond question, but it's also a tool, the only available tool to navigate across the body. In fact, is a fantastic GPS that allow us to know accurately where we are, either in a real trip (in case of surgery), or in virtual one, when analysing an image or interpreting a clinical condition. And why advanced? We don't mean advanced anatomy. We mean advanced knowledge in anatomy, to find, explore and use the best ways to improve the use of anatomy as a tool. In other ways, just trying to have always the last and best anatomical GPS to improve and get a better and safer daily clinical practice.
