Acts of Kindness Cabaret is the harmonious pairing of live performance and philanthropy. Born from the founder’s desire to offer her talents to others by paying it forward, AOKC’s mission is to help other Chicago-area nonprofits raise funds and cultivate donors by providing professional, entertaining cabaret events almost entirely free of charge. ✯ What is a cabaret and why would it make a great fundraiser? Modern cabaret is, simply, storytelling through song, the perfect compliment to any fundraising or donor cultivation event. Cabaret is fun and engaging, featuring music from all eras and genres. It is one of the few art forms that can be enjoyed equally by audiences from 18 to 80.
