We are a familyowned company that was founded by Lars Ahrén in the early 70's. Initially we shipped car parts for Scania and sea containers around Mälardalen. Subsequently, the company's transport has been extended from Mälardalen to the whole of Europe. We have today just over 70 employees, with branch offices in Helsingborg and a sister company in Estonia. We plan transports across Europe with about 35 of our own trucks and carriers. We also have our warehouse and terminal operations in a facility (about 5,000 sqm) where we also offer distribution services. In addition to clean transport services for the past few years we also have a verified climate strategy which means we report our emissions every year and have an actionplan to reduce the numbers! From 2013 onwards, we are also ISO-certified in Quality, Environment, Work Environment and Road Safety. We have driven our vehicles at 100% RME for many years. We do have a pending pause due to investigation of various repairs. Our drivers have undergone Hevay Echo Driving and we are continuously working to try to reduce our fuel consumption. The fleet is new and consists of Euro4 and Euro5 engines, and some are also equipped with Ecocruise function to reduce fuel consumption. During 2014 we expanded/exchanged the fleet with 5 new Euro 6 cars, some with "I-see" function. Alcolocks are also standard in our cars to increase road safety. ACT, Ahréns Container & Trailer was formed in 1990 by Lars Ahrén and Owe Kjellin putting their heads together and doing what they were best at - coordinated transports! In 1995, they expanded with an office in Gothenburg when Sture Jonasson joined as a companion. The idea from start was to convey container and trailer transports around the Stockholm area and then down in Skåne and around Gothenburg. Today we have more than 60 trucks stationed in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Skåne. We are today a part of the mother company Ahréns Holding AB. ACT AB - We Can Trailers And Containers!
