ACI Seed, a strategic business unit of ACI Limited is one of the largest crop seed producers and distributing company holding the first position among the private sector in Bangladesh contributing in the area of Research and variety Development, Technology validation and extension, Seed production, Processing and marketing, after sales service. With changing times the business has identified that more sophisticated research needs to take place and has started R&D on molecular breeding under the Advance Seed Research and Biotech Centre (ASRBC). ACI Seed have production center and contract farming approach where our farmer receive training and do produce quality seed of ACI. Have 02 SPC in Bangladesh in northern and southern part of Bangladesh for the better processing and packaging of seed. Have 12 depots countrywide through where we can distribute our product within short time in any corner in Bangladesh. We have 10 Hybrid Rice, 28 HYV Rice, 10 Hybrid Maize, 07 Potato variety and for Vegetables seed, we have 29 Crops (108 Variety out of that 38 own variety) and number of collaboration with Government bodies, National and Internal organization research organization, International seed company and multi sectorial engagement. ACI Seed produce around 75% seed in country that give mileage to ACI and for Bangladesh economy to reduce dependency of import. ACI seed working closely with the farmers in the present situation to support with quality input (seed) alligning with government initiative for the food security of Bangladesh maitaining the health and hygiene issue. ACI seed have strong network across the country for quick and quality support for farmers.
