Overview

Academy for Professional Development Inc. (AFPD) was established in 2014 to provide the general public a means to provide exciting and realistic EMS training. We want to provide our students not only the best in learning materials but share both civilian and military field experience. AFPD also provides veterans a means to utilize their military training and experience to readjust and pursue careers in the civilian workforce. The public is also welcome to attend our school programs and would benefit from our proven teaching methods and experienced instructors. Whom all have been in their fields for numerous decades and directly relates to each training program. AFPD offers trade school certifications in EMT, Supply Chain, Executive Protection Specialist, and Physical Protection Specialist certification. The school is an approved educational institution by the State of California. AFPD also holds a Veterans Administration facility code that enable veterans to utilize their vocational rehab funds for training. We work with our students to help them obtain the proper certification that often meets any state or federal regulatory need, which assists students for future employment in our specified fields of training. AFPD understands that a piece of paper on the wall only goes so far and that certifications, licensing, proper guidance and training are needed for students to become the best qualified candidates for these positions.
