AC² was born in the summer of 2011; it is a new literary agency based in Italy, focused on literary fiction rather than mass market fiction, with 14 years of experience in this trade. AC² loves books – because “There’s more to life than books, you know, but not much more”, as Morrissey says; we want to promote high quality fiction and original authors, thus being a kind of international “match-making agency” for books and publishers. We have a more than ten-year-long experience as translators, and we know very well the literary map of contemporary world literature. Our areas of expertise are the literatures of America and Great Britain, but also anglophone and Spanish-speaking literatures from all over the world. We dive deep into other cultures, we travel, we go hunting for books, we take good care of our authors and clients.
