Abhijit Gajwani is an award winning filmmaker. His business is telling stories; funny stories, serious stories, but always, deeply human stories, and from the heart. To this day, his approach has remained unaltered - he prides himself in working with creative people who share a similar passion for filmmaking and in delivering unparalleled quality. His distinctive narrative approach has won valuable creative acclaim at DMA Asia Echo Awards and Webby Awards. Films that he has worked on have gone on to screen at festivals such as Sundance, Cannes and HollyShorts to name a few. He is also the recipient of the Best Student Director award at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival for his thesis short film ‘Gnossienne’. He brings with him a hands-on approach which is built on a foundation of an unparalleled international production industry experience. He has graduated from New York Film Academy with a Masters in Filmmaking. He also holds a dual Bachelors in Animation and Graphic Design. In Los Angeles, while working in various capacities, he made over two hundred short films, two television shows, three feature films and two dozen A-list singers music videos. In India, in addition to the commercials, he has also directed an episode for Discovery US’s Body Bizarre television show which was aired worldwide on Discovery’s partner channels in multiple languages.
