Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum is a history museum which collects, preserves, researches and promotes historical and memorial values, presents the history of Kaunas Fortress, Nazi and Soviet occupations, restoration of statehood, also the history of Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum. The main objectives of the Museum are to preserve cultural heritage and historical memory and to educate the public. Museum operates in a memorial complex – in an open park that is abundantly visited not only by Kaunas residents, but also by the city guests.
