We are INDIA'S PREMIER THINKING BAND. Inspired by thoughts and motivated by music, our musical explorations, have helped us in making many stimulating discoveries. Our performances are reflections of these very eclectic discoveries, that are driven by imaginative thoughts & parallel perspectives. We approach music in a ‘story telling’ & ‘thought stimulating’ way, which helps to enhance audience engagement and suitably flavor it with unique trivia, management philosophies, Carnatic raagas and flamboyant execution…it offers a distinctive experience, each time…every time. Even our name ‘72/35 Southern Street’ routes us back to our roots. Carnatic Classical Music has 72 Melakarta (Main) Raagas & 35 Taalas (Rhytmn Cycles). We are trained Indian Classical Artists…so every show will have a dignified twist that brings in an ‘Aha’ moment. The band constitutes of 2 Chartered Accountants, 2 MBAs, 1 Software Professional & an Entertainment Curator…our conversations, processes & execution will be completely professional, as we understand the essentials of the Corporate World. We have an amassed experience of over 6000 concerts ranging from unblemished Carnatic classical, Jugalbandi, Fusion/World, Bollywood entertainers, Folk, Theatre, Dance & Public Speaking…this augments the variety & depth in the performance. One of our most loved and celebrated projects is the ‘The Bollywood Fusion Project’ that features our collaborations with celebrated singers from Hindi Cinema…this offers a Carnatic twist to the popular Hindi film chartbusters. Again an exclusive form of entertainment suitable to dignified audiences. Every engagement is curated exclusively based on the event, audience, organization & communication. Our extensive repertoire and diverse expertise assist in crafting every performance into a magnum opus. We just don’t sing to entertain…we perform to awaken.
