Overview

Four Winds Clarinet Quartet was founded in October 2017 by four Maltese musicians who came together following the initiative by their tutor Michael Pirotta who's aim was to promote new talent and create a platform for clarinet players to perform and get discovered. All four clarinet players started their musical journeys within local band clubs and later furthered their studies in clarinet performance. The ensemble is made up of Nathalie Cachia and Rene Camilleri on Bb Clarinet, Karl Camilleri on Bb Clarinet and Eb Alto Clarinet and finally Gabriel Agius Pascalidis on Bb Bass Clarinet. All of whom have advanced studies in Clarinet performance obtained from distinguished institutions in the UK and a number of masterclasses in their portfolio.
