Overview

The 4th Ranger Training Battalion (RTB) executes rigorous training to create competent and capable Rangers and Reconnaissance leaders to enable the US Army and the Joint Force to prevail in combat and provides world-class air movement and air medical evacuation support to the US Army Maneuver Center of Excellence and Fort Moore, Georgia. 4th Ranger Training Battalion (RTB) Core Missions • Conduct the foundational phase of the military's premier leadership course, US Army Ranger School. • Conduct the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course • Conduct air assault and paradrop missions via eight Blackhawk helicopters • Provide air medical evacuation to a community of 107,000 people via seven Blackhawk helicopters
