3R Environmental Services ('3RE') is founded to protect the environment by reducing the impact of hazards emanating from waste electric and electronic goods (WEEE or E-Waste). 3RE is a supply chain manager with a commitment to provide eco-friendly collection, transportation and disposal of WEEE. True to its name, at 3RE we work to: (i) Reduce waste by spreading awareness and thereby creating material for secondary use rather than sending it as waste to landfills (ii) Reuse by building capability to extract working parts that could be used for making refurbished electronic equipment (iii) Recycle by sending the non-working electronic goods and material to formal sector government recognized eco-friendly recyclers The firm manages following e-waste: 1. Audio visual electronics: + Televisions + Video and DVD players + Hi-fi equipment, stereos, speakers and other entertainment appliances + Electronic games and toys e.g. joysticks, computer game consoles + Cameras - digital or video cameras 5. Household electronics: + Microwaves + Vacuum cleaners + Other household electrical appliances eg toasters, irons and kettles 6. Other: + Medical & lab equipment + Test equipment eg voltmeter
