The Oil Palm Division of 3F Industries Ltd. (3FIL) was established in 1993.3FIL was among the first few companies identified by the Government of India for implementing the Oil Palm Development Project in Andhra Pradesh. Later it expanded its operations to six new states - Karnataka, Mizoram, Orissa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Arunachal Pradesh. Operations consist of nurturing oil palm saplings, Oil Palm plantations based on contract farming and Palm Oil processing units including Palm Oil Mills, Refineries and Power Plants. 3F Oil Palm has established Oil Palm processing facilities in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and arrangements are in the pipeline to set up a palm oil mill in Mizoram and Gujarat. 3F Oil Palm is also in the process of expanding internationally by setting up integrated Palm Oil plantation projects in Suriname (South America) and Gabon (Africa) Competitive edge: • Expertise in Oil Palm backward and forward integration • Presence from South to North and East to West of the country • Dedicated team of professionals • A separate maintenance team to exclusively maintain the gardens • A full-fledged R&D laboratory for soil, leaf and water analysis • Technical training to all farmers on the growing practices of Oil Palm • A separate plantation audit team independently reporting to the management
