360 YOUTH DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE Profile: 360 Youth Development Initiative (360YDI) is a non-governmental and non-profit making organization (Registration number 80020003693781 ), located in Uganda the pearl of Africa. Youth and children in Uganda particularly in slums live under very trying and challenging circumstances, which have traumatized them and made them non performing citizens economically and socially. Due to high costs of living with increasing economic crisis Many children have been forced to stay in slums that are characterized by increases drug abuse, sexual violence, domestic violence, moral decay, poor standards of living, alleviated poverty among others This ugly situation has contributed greatly to the increased mental health challenges in children and youth. These challenges have resulted into rampant teenage pregnancies , theft , drug abuse, child labor, low self-esteem among others and all this put our future generation in suspense.
