1771 Group of Restaurants takes its name from the first address of its flagship restaurant, Chateau 1771. It began in 1988 as a quaint French bistro on 1771 M. Adriatico Street, which quickly gained a following among Malate-goers at the time. 1771 Group has since expanded to include Sidebar, Sentro 1771 and Cafe 1771. Over the years, the numbers "1771" have come to represent the excellence in food quality, service and ambience that our loyal customers can expect from us. Chateau 1771 - Now located in Greenbelt 5, Chateau 1771 is on its 26th year as a multi-acclaimed fine dining restaurant, considered by many as one of Manila's very best and an institution. Sentro 1771 - In 2002, Sentro 1771 exploded on the culinary scene as the first to introduce Modern Filipino Cuisine.
