„Your market place with traditions!” The Lodz Wholesale Market Zjazdowa S.A. was established in 1997, but individual wholesale trade was situated at this area from early 1980. “ZJAZDOWA” is the biggest market for producers from the Lodz Voivodship (Region), in which fresh fruit and vegetables are sold. The Wholesale Market is also the supply centre of a wide selection of groceries for the whole Lodz agglomeration (1.5 million people) and a source of information about supply and demand for production, and for the prices of the day. The Market covers the area of 14 hectares and includes four foodstuff halls (2000 square meters each) with about 250 stands 24 square meters (64 stands/boxes in each hall), offering over 130 business entities from the foodstuff and fruit and vegetable sectors an opportunity to do business.
