It identified that youth groups that came into the community centre often had no capability to obtain healthy food or food at all. The Community centre decided to place priority on this as they believe that youth development is key as they are our future generation. In order to ensure that their development and well being is taken care of, the establishment of a partnership with local business has been identified as a potential solution. This will enable the community centre to have a sustainable source of healthy food to feed our youth groups. ● A pool of contactable local businesses were identified and approached. Communication methods included calling, emailing, and direct interactions. After a period of time, we managed to create a partnership with the local Countdown. This allowed the community centre to visit on a weekly basis and collect food supplies for our youth. Show less
