At Joy FM Radio: I am on the air daily as the mid-day host for "Joy on the Job", and on Sunday evenings from eight until midnight for "Weekend Wind Down" on the Joy FM Radio Network. As Development Manager, I work with business support and as a fund raiser for WXRI Radio, the Winston Salem affiliate of Joy FM, which is a non-profit, Christian radio station. Joy FM has over 20 frequencies in the network in four states. Joy FM also broadcasts live at www.joyfm.org. I served as Music Director at Joy FM from 1997 until 2005, listening to new music, conduction weekly target audience surveys with up to 40 target listeners, preparing national charts, programming daily logs and setting up rotations. I do art originals and fundraising through prints for non-profits. Commissions are welcome. Although I have never been able to find the time to work far enough ahead to do many art shows of my own, I have entered a few art competitions. I received an honorable mention in a drawing contest at the Sawtooth Center in Winston Salem, and have been awarded several blue, red, pink and white ribbons at the Dixie Classic fair in painting, drawing and sculpting, in both traditional and abstract categories. Perhaps what I am best known for are my historical prints and originals. I have preserved on paper many churches, schools, barns and home places around the area. To date I have done 16 of these prints, and literally dozens of originals. I have given away much of my work as gifts and donations. I continue to raise money for non-profits through art. There are Wanda Norman Taylor prints and originals hanging in homes and businesses in at least 13 states. Look up my Facebook Page at Wanda Norman Taylor Art. Show less
