  With over 12 years of clinical experience as an Osteopath working in the UK and Australia, Vanessa has treated a diverse range of patients from babies to adults, using a combination of cranial, functional and structural osteopathic techniques and dry needling. Vanessa is a graduate from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO), the UK’s oldest school of Osteopathy, which is respected throughout the world for providing high quality, innovative and modern osteopathic education. After graduating with distinction, her skills as a clinical practitioner were considered in such high esteem by the BSO that she was invited to lecture there, which she did for 3 years prior to migrating to Australia. In recent years, she has developed a special interest in the benefits of osteopathy for solving problems associated with pregnancy, babies and young children. As an ex-professional dancer who discovered the benefits of osteopathy after suffering an injury, Vanessa has a special association with performers and athletes and leading their rehabilitation. Women’s health is a key area of interest, specifically helping women who wish to fall pregnant. Osteopathic treatment can help to create the optimum environment within the body to maximise a woman’s health for conception. Vanessa has helped many women during pregnancy, assisting with the postural adaptations within the spine and pelvis, preparing the body for labour and postpartum symptoms.
