I am active on the safety and ergonomics teams. I am responsible for the maintenance of the entire facility and all the production equipment. One of my larger projects involved the relocation of equipment from a facility in North Carolina. I traveled to the facility to evaluate the processes, equipment, space and power requirements. I developed a layout for the installation of equipment and performed all the training to get the processes in operation. In addition, I am constantly looking for ways to improve ergonomics, safety and efficiency. Show less

At Harper I was responsible for identifying processes that were reducing production quantity and quality. I would then evaluate acceptable improvements and implement the changes. The two largest projects involved purchasing an automatic cutoff saw and building a set of board handling conveyors. I was also responsible for three maintenance people and the facilities and grounds. At Harper I was responsible for identifying processes that were reducing production quantity and quality.
