At the time I was working at Umina, Tomas was the Head of Business Development, in charge of partnership, finances, and strategic development of organisation. He was also actively involved in day-to-day operations by overseeing projects and leading daily team meetings. I had the pleasure of working directly under Tomas’ supervision. During the time I was working at Umina, we have never had too few clients; there were always projects coming to an end, projects in implementation phase, and projects at a discovery (analysis) phase. While Umina is known as a trusted partner, it was largely because of Tomas’ ability to develop new client relationships. Bringing onboard large clients is a difficult task if you are a relatively small company, however, during my time at Umina, the team had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest brand names in Lithuania. Tomas knew well the added value of business digitalisation (use of technologies) and was excellent at explaining them. He was also not just a starting (selling) point for new clients but also the middle point - he had an overview over ongoing projects, facilitated daily meetings (helped the team with tasks assignation), and resolved any client-related issues. Therefore, it is safe to say that he was the go-to person for nearly all project/client/organisation related queries. Tomas was also very enthusiastic and determined to bond our team at every chance given - from informal talks prior to a team meeting, to organising socials and arranging team-building trips. Together with another manager Lukas, they have put a great amount of effort in making sure that Umina is a great place to work at. Tomas is a committed and client-oriented team leader, with great enthusiasm towards the success of Umina and well-being of the team. I enjoyed being a part of a team lead by Tomas and Lukas, therefore, I would recommend joining Umina at any time.
