Evaluation and management includes specialized procedures on the EMU, excluding interpretation of EEG.Responsibilities also include psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and management (or referral) for patients with epilepsy and potential comorbid mental illness, who are undergoing evaluation for epilepsy surgery, in collaboration with a psychiatrist.I also have responsibilities in the ambulatory setting for urgent same day visits for established patients and follow up for psychiatric comorbidities as needed based.
