  Titi Conservation Alliance is a private organization working to achieve sustainable development in Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast, within the lovely Manuel Antonio region. Member businesses include local hotels, tour operators, restaurants, real estate companies and individual donors. The organization’s efforts focus on sustainable tourism, habitat reforestation and environmental education. Our goal is to provide members with guidance, exposure and good practices assistance whilst saving endangered species (titi monkey) and helping the community’s stability. During my time at the head of the TCA, the organization´s budget for projects and daily work grew 2.5 times. The list of members increased 40%. Monitoring studies in different areas were performed on a yearly basis. New projects were launched and specific promotion products were developed. General results and environmental protection advances were absolutely rewarding. Show less
