  Picture News is a fabulous online resource for schools and care homes, engaging our readers, young and old in meaningful debate through a weekly current affairs story. As part of the Care Home and Education Teams, I write content for our resources: weekly assemblies, two newspapers and guides for discussion. I deliver bespoke training in the use of all our resources (currently by webinar), engage with clients and present short assembly videos online (view our Picture News assemblies on Vimeo). We have a small bank of very willing volunteers from our Care Home subscribers who are helping us to trial a weekly Picture News video, sharing stories, ideas and thoughts from residents.
