  I served in Afghanistan, Kandahar province. Conducted vehicle patrols also various foot patrols, recon missions and force protection. The tour was 9 months long from December 2012 through September 2013. •In charge of accountability of over $200,000 dollars worth of communication equipment for 7 months overseas with no deficiencies, losses or damages while in charge of maintaining the equipment. • Participated in a combined 20 weeks of field exercises. • Performed field and sustainment level maintenance on radios, transmitters, COMSEC equipment, controlled cryptographic items, and associated equipment. • Performed 9 months of force protection, over 50 vehicle and various foot patrols overseas. • Assisted leader and staff with developing realistic training time frames and goals to be achieved by class. • Implemented a new standard operating procedure for company level intelligence support teams where mission briefs and debriefs were conducted at the National Training Center (NTC). • Expanded multi-lateral relations with Afghanistan to strengthen security and partnership while serving in Afghanistan.
