Program Assistant
-
Jun 2016 - Jul 2018
As a Program Assistant I provide in home intervention services as well as work hands on in a therapy gym with a Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) certified OT. Along with 1on1 sessions I also run peer dyads and groups with the goal to follow a visual plan for the session, sequencing activities which are of benefit to the child's overall development (as assessed by the OT). My clients range in age from 5-18 with a variety of challenges including ASD, OCD, ODD, DCD, SPD, ADHD, Tourette's and LD. I target specific goals such as balance and bilateral coordination as well as written output, core strength, independent living skills, prevocational skills and perspective taking. Show less
