  After working as a laboratory technician hand-making custom medical orthotics atParagon Orthotics Lab for three years, I realized that that they can exponentially cutlabor cost and manufacturing time by shifting their manufacturing method to 3Dprinting. I approached them with this idea and agreed to implement 3D printinginto their workflow on a contractual basis. My responsibilities included:• Researched and tested different materials/printers and troubleshooted theprinting• Learnt 3D modelling software, created prototypes• Designed a 3D printing workflow and facilitated the hand over which includedteaching staff all the required knowledge.The project took approximately 6 months to complete. I have since closed mycontract but have stayed in close contact with Paragon Orthotics in case they needtechnical support. Show less

  Working as a lab tech was my summer job each year from 2010 to 2015. Ramyar Shimi mass produces specialized chemicals for distribution in the oil and farming industry.
