Informed and well connected, Sarah-Jane knows how to navigate contacts and corridors to get policy issues seen and heard. SJ is an experienced sounding board for political positions and understands the important context for briefings, consultations and lobbying. Critically she also understands how best to use social media and press articles for awareness campaigns, campaign planning and implementation, having been actively involved in these with political groups and her current role. She's also professional, likeable, approachable and collaborative (and bakes a damn fine cake!).

Ana Diamond

Sarah-Jane is one of those people that you always dream of working with: she is positive, outgoing, detail-oriented, flexible, and always very dedicated to whatever it is that she has promised to do. She brings in all her energy and ideas, and does not give up until she has reached her goals. A totally fierce character with the utmost kindest soul.

Patrick Sullivan

It was a pleasure to work with Sarah-Jane for a year. She went above and beyond for Parliament Street not only managing her department but our social media presence as well. She is incredibly organised, driven and gets things done at the first time of asking!

An exciting new blog, to showcase the writing skills and ideas of those young conservatives under the age of 18. No gossip, just real stuff, by real people! We have some FANTASTIC minds who have not quite reached legal adulthood yet, and it is about time their voices were artistically collated in one place. The aims of Young Conservative Voices; To provide an ideologically conservative platform for those aged 18 and under. To provide interesting reads for ALL ages. To collate the many talents of young conservatives from all over Great Britain. Young Conservative Voices provides an artistic opportunity for young people to express their opinions without being tied to party lines. It’s important to engage young people in politics before they are eligible to vote, to ensure they do vote when they are eligible.

Promote and sell home-made ice-cream Sweets and Confectionary Housekeeping Customer Relations Stock Check National Lottery Tobacco Newspaper sales I sought employment with the family run business because QD Stores could not offer me enough hours to provide enough wages to fund my participation in the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award. I really enjoyed working here and I was quite sad when I had to leave to start University. I worked on average 15 hours a week during term time but this increased significantly during school holidays. The shop is an old fashioned sweet shop and ice-cream parlour with its own factory producing its own handmade ice-cream. Working here my tasks included stock refill, weighing and packaging sweets to demand for customers from jars and in standard weights for shelving. I also worked in the ice-cream parlour serving ice-cream cornets, ice-cream sundaes, making and serving fresh hot waffles, various hot and cold beverages and banana splits to name a few, as well as serving customers the Lottery, tobacco and newspapers. In the latter months of my employment I was very lucky to be allowed to work in the factory and help make the Ice-cream, a job usually only reserved for the business owner and assistant manager so it was a real honour. I was able to implement my theoretical knowledge learnt in my food technology studies into a practical setting.

Customer Relations Housekeeping Stock Check and refill Tills QD Stores was my first paid employment position. A new store opened in my home town and I helped to install the shop and produce into the premises and then progressed as a Saturday shop assistant for 4.5 hours per week to help fund my A-level Studies and my participation in the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award. I had many tasks which included till work, stock re-fill, cleaning, answering phones and helping with the annual stock take. Excellent customer service was a pride of the company and a pride of my own, I always made sure that a customer could find exactly what they wanted or at least a suitable alternative, including ringing other stores in the chain to have stock transferred or reserved.
