      • Oct 2022 - Present

I am advancing American Rivers’ Clean Water Supply program work in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, with a particular focus on the Delaware River and Susquehanna River basins. I work closely with partner organizations and municipalities to advance clean water policies and practices, with a focus on urban stormwater and natural infrastructure. I collaborate with partners, coordinate with local, state, regional and national leaders, and engage with communities in a variety of capacities and projects to ensure healthy rivers can provide clean water for everyone.

I created Schuylkill River Greenways National Heritage Area's education department to bring watershed awareness and experiential opportunities to communities along the Schuylkill River. I developed two main education programs: Schuylkill Explorers, environmental education for K-12 students, and Schuylkill Environmental Career Opportunities (ECO), a career development program for high school and college students. I managed these keystone programs, along with our Junior Ranger program, community collaborations such as our summer H2Yo! camp with Montgomery County Community College and Green Valleys Watershed Association, youth mentor programs for the Schuylkill Sojourn, and family recreation opportunities in the annual Ride for the River.I co-established the SRG Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) committee comprised of staff, board, and community members to incorporate JEDI principals and trainings into the workplace at SRG. While managing the Trail Ambassador program I improved the volunteer recruitment, retention, training and record keeping for over 100 Schuylkill River Trail and Event volunteers.
