Cruise Whitsundays, winner of multiple awards, is an experienced and progressive maritime service provider with an annual salary cost in excess of $11 million with a workforce comprising of professionals, trade, hospitality, call centre and marine personal. Principal strategist and visionary of HR department, orchestrated all bottom-line factors aligned with company vision, long-range strategic and directed all people based activities within the organisation from both an operational and strategic perspective. Integral participant in areas such as: resource planning and recruitment; training; managing a variety of ER issues at any one time and being the first point of contact for all employee related issues. Managed the smooth transition of 4 technologies, involving the successful integration of 300 employees. Key Contributions: Instigated adequate systems and internal controls in order to streamline operations resulted in sufficient 15% decrease in attrition rates through implementation of meritocracy and incentive based rewards program Rendered management expertise to review and recalibrate all company HR systems. Authored and launched a process handbook which provided staff with a redefined focused view in line with company mission and values.
