He's earned the great respect of his team as well as my team in Japan with his diligence, his deep understanding of security principles and policies, his concern for both teams' success, and his gentle good humor. Rudy is moving on from Amazon and that's heartbreaking for me. He's taught me not just how to be a good security professional, but also--and perhaps more important--how to be an excellent manager. He will be sorely missed.
