Pillar Strategic Planning develops annual work plans for the consortium of 32 funding agencies, hosts the secretariat for the Strategic Advisory Board, identifies present trends and future develpments in science and society, explores synergies in Europe, updates the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. EP PerMed is the follow-up of ERA PerMed and aims to start by the end of 2023. The work package Networking will provide funding for networking activities for development and implementation of Personalised Medicine, e.g. building consortia for future projects, development of white papers, horizon scanning, guidelines and recommendations, best practice frameworks.   Managing the Horizon programme: supporting research talent and stimulating valorisition of genomics research results. I organised 3 Breakthrough project calls for reseach talent and 4 Zenith project calls for experienced reseachers. Horizon became a prestegious programme, comparable to Vernieuwingsimpuls. Managing the Fellowship programme: travel grants for doing research in a genomics / bioinformatics lab abroad for up to 1 year. Some 40 travel grants have been rewarded.
