I worked for Rick for 5 years and worked in the department he directed for a few more. I can say that I have never worked with a more well organized group in my adult life. Rick makes sure that everyone is appropriately accountable and puts the onus where it belongs so that the machine runs smoothly. When there is a cog in the machine, Rick will encourage the group to solve the problems and assist if asked. Rick's problem solving skills are second to none and he will always get the group's input and buy in leading to a team decision whenever possible. Rick makes a point to get to know everyone, compliments their achievements, and encourages their continued success. Rick will lift everyone around him to their highest level of achievement.

I worked directly managing and as a peer to Rick Lisseveld from 1999 to 2018. Rick is an IT utility belt in many respects. I could bring problems from many facets of IT to Rick and would always get steered in the correct direction. Rick is especially talented in software development, troubleshooting, infrastructure, design, and leading IT resources. He would be an incredibly valuable addition to any technical team.
