Rich brings vitality, creativity, & contagious energy to every endeavor he pursues. A selfless listener, Richard invests the time & effort to understand the needs of a given project. He then applies systematic analysis, keen intellect, and ingenuity to exceed expectations in his delivery of a solution. In addition to being technically competent, his social aptitude & sense of humor make him a joy to be around. I'm grateful to have known him these 11 years, and I endorse him without hesitation.

November 2016 – Present: independent contractor I have multiple customers with projects that span multiple engineering disciplines. Below is a non-complete list of customers and projects I have had in 2017: • Forgeworks (Delta, CO) Role: Brewery engineer / design engineer: Here I designed a 20 barrel brewery in Solidworks 2017 for one of their large clients. This included tank design, PID plumbing and some electrical design. I also performed efficiency analysis to help sell breweries to an efficiency-conscious client in Colorado. • Pete Lein and Sons (Laporte, CO): Project Management: estimate and oversee multiple industrial construction projects. This included installing a 10,000 lb take up assembly for their belt conveyor in their Livermore plant. • Peak Innovations (Johnstown CO) Assist in the design and development of a concrete cooling system that has been and is being deployed worldwide. • Upsher Smith Labs (Denver, CO): Provide high-level technical support for equipment rebuilding during the annual plant shut down. This includes designing and machining custom components and working with the maintenance team to ensure that they were properly installed. • Denver Machine Shop (Denver, CO): Take customer ideas and create designs and drawings that meet their needs.
