Bio
Edward Roderick
Richard is and was what can only be described as an institution in Dubai Radio and on the media in general. I worked with him as a guest speaker on the evening radio show on Dubai Eye commenting on all sorts of economic and other business issues. Richard hosted, controlled and moderated the show with great panache and was the first port of call for all senior business people working in Dubai and the greater Gulf region. If you wanted to be known you had to get an invite from Richard. He was a great champion of developing companies as he realised that the Emirates was made up of young enthusiastic and entrepreneurial people who created this fast growing environment. Always looking at the academic approach he wrote a book on the impact of the financial crisis called 'sink or swim' which captured the essence of those who weathered this difficult period well. Above all he is a nice guy and good speaker.
Dean Carroll
Presenters and public speakers don't come any better than Richard. Aside from the gift of the gab, he is also a highly-knowledgable member of the commentariat and a very personable guy. It's been a delight to work with him on the Gulf Business Awards, among other things. You need this man on your team.
