• Effectively interact with client and other contractors on site • Perform investigations and reporting of incidents, accidents and near misses, • Implement corrective actions to be taken to mitigate findings. • Ensure all contractors are implementing corrective actions assigned to them within a timely manner. • Daily tasks of reviewing and completing hazard ID’s, JHA, FLHA, equipment inspections, • Enter daily statistics into company data base. • Perform Pre access drug testing on site. • Perform on site orientations • Prepare and update ERP as Required. • Perform receiver and source line inspections • Perform seismic drill inspections to ensure drilling contractors are adhering to company drilling policies. • Keep current with new safety policies and initiatives • Follow OH&S and safety program to ensure we are in compliance with current regulations • Support and advice company contractors on their safety program (policies, practices and standards, etc.) • Ensure site staff performs work in a safe manner consistent with safety program, policies & procedures • Promote continuous safety improvement and foster pro-active behavior • Toolbox Meetings • Adhere to Alberta OH&S Act regulation and code • Guide and mentor crews on safety policies and procedures • Enforce safety program through verbal and/or written process for safety infractions • Ongoing support of the safety program through site leadership, participation and feedback • Performing site inspections in compliance with company policy & OHS legislation Show less
